Northwest Airlines is the preferred airline for Cornell's 2009 Commencement.
For passengers originating in the U.S. or Canada:
Northwest Airlines is offering a 5% discount (12% with 30 day advance ticketing) on all discounted restricted fares to Ithaca, Syracuse, Binghamton, and Elmira, following all rules and restrictions. It offers a 10% discount on unrestricted, full economy fares, (12% with 30 day advance reservation).
Travel must occur between May 18, 2009 and May 28, 2009.
Online ticketing instructions for the Cornell University Commencement:
Use your assigned WorkFile/Ticket Designator to purchase your tickets online and your negotiated discount will be applied to available fares. Individuals and meeting planners should go to: http://www.nwa.com
- Under Airfare Search - fill out details of your request
- click on "NWA Discount Travel E-Cert Redemption" which is located at the bottom.
- On the Flight Search screen, click Login.
- Enter your WorldPerks number or continue to login as Guest.
- Complete the Flight Search section and navigate to the bottom where you will see,
- "Do you have a ... meeting agreement?"
- Use drop down menu and select "Meeting Agreement (WordlFile number)".
- Enter the Worldfile number (NMDE8) in the Code box and complete your transaction.
Attendees may also call Northwest at 1-800-328-1111. A $10 US or $11 CAD ticketing fee will be assessed.
